Rachel Zoe Revamps Tiffany & Co.’s Windows As an Homage to Hollywood

Rachel Zoe has taken her fashionable eye from the tents at Lincoln Center to the corner of 57th and 5th. The super stylist was tapped by Tiffany & Co.’s Richard Moore to design window displays for the flagship in honor of the upcoming Academy Awards. Zoe immediately jumped at the chance to work with the iconic jewelry brand and created a series of windows that use the brand’s jewels to capture the decadence and glamor of the decades between the 1930s and 1970s. The star of the window displays is the Jean Schlumberg Fleur de Mer brooch given to the late Elizabeth Taylor from her husband Richard Burton in 1965. The window designs will travel to flagship stores in New York City, Beverly Hills, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore and London. Though Zoe would love to take the collaboration further in the future, she spoke of how there are more similarities between dressing a window and dressing a person than one may think. “Though you’re dealing with a small space [of a window], there’s always a message that you want to convey, “ she said. “Jewelry sets the tone whether on a woman or here.”
