The blond icon is celebrating her 50th birthday this year. With 50 designers creating unique looks for the bombshell, we can’t wait to see what will come out of the dream house. But more importantly we are eager to see how the models will channel a doll with perfect measurements. 

As the recipient of this year’s Fashion Group International Rising Star award, the Mexican-born designer makes great use of elaborate details and fancy embellishments. He has even designed costumes for the ballet.

His sleek designs are classically elegant. Though he has been at the forefront of American fashion for a while, this year Rodriguez got a big boost from Michelle Obama and will be boosting Bryant Park as well with his first show in the tents in six seasons.

This Korean design duo met in school, married, built a brand and moved east. Their clothes are chic and wearable, plus they created the uniform for McDonald’s employees in Korea.

Will he come out in a kilt? Will the show start on time? Can we expect a front row encounter with Victoria Beckham or Courtney Love? His shows are always a unique experience and a good time.

Wang is the quintessential party boy whose impeccable designs match his gregarious personality. We have been fans of his soft t-shirts and edgy designs since our first encounter with the young designer. This season his show will be bigger than ever courtesy of his $250,000 CFDA/ Vogue Fashion Fund win.

Reality TV stars often have a short lived moment of fame before fading and later ending up on the Surreal Life. But Christian Siriano took his Project Runway win and parlayed it into a serious fashion career. His Spring 2009 show was quite impressive and for Fall 2009 he will be showing in Bryant Park and we are eager to see what “major” designs he comes up with. 

Wu’s designs have been consistently magical. With impeccable attention to detail and an airy aesthetic Wu has been a favorite of editors and buyers for a while, but thanks to his Inaugural moment the world is watching. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for Fall 2009.
